Ok fine so blaul isn't a word. I made it all up, alright whatever, what are you going to do, throw me in jail? The word blaul means blogger haul. I went to the mall today with my friend and we got pedicures, shopped, ate, the normal teenage good stuff, so I thought I could maybe share the findings with you! But first I want to show you my hot pink pedicure...
Bath and body works
Paris Amour collection body lotion $3.50
Liplicious lipgloss (fruit punch) $7.50 :)
It's not much but I walked around the mall for about 4 hours...It was back to school shopping week, but I had $48.00 and I spent $34.00 on school supplies. I only had about $14.00 left so my friends mom bought the shirt for me hehe. I love going shopping with other peoples moms. Just if you're wondering I didn't only have $48.00 for school stuff, it was just the first time I went this year I usually go about 3 or 4 times unless it's a huge shopping trip like $200. I don't come from a rich family so keep in mind that even $100 is a lot to me. I hope you all had a great time reading my blog post. Comment's are appreciated, Follows are fabulous.
Xoxo, Shenae :)

Hey everyone! With school staring back up, it's good to have a dorm or house key on hand. A good way not to lose it is to put it on a key chain. Blah, blah, blah. Did you know that you can paint your house key with nail polish and it still fits in the lock! Yeah, I did it last year and it was blue with glitter. This year I wanted to do something different. So, like it was a fingernail, I took the nail polish off with nail polish remover, and repainted it purple with sparkle. I'm a sucker for glitter and shine, hehe. I'd had my key in my bag for about a week when I realized, this isn't working, I'm still losing my key around in my bag. That's when I realized that I should make it into a necklace/bracelet! I found a loose stringy thing that holds silly bands and slid my key on. I held it up but it didn't seem finished yet so I added some feathers, and part of a woven bracelet I made to make the Necklace/bracelet boho. (By the way, if you don't want to wear you're creation,or you can't find a good necklace chain, you can use a piece of string and tie it to your bag, backpack, or whatever you use.) Here's a picture of my Key...
I know, I need to paint my nails.
This next picture is a picture of the whole thing I made...
My weird but cool looking eclectic
Key ring chain awesome thingy!
The things you'll need to make the eclectic key necklace/bracelet...
1. chain or string or anything really.
2. feathers of any length and color. If you want boho, go for browns and earthy tones. If you want fun, crazy, or flirty, try the bright and pastels. I picked the latter choice.
3. Micro Links, not the ones for your hair. Micro links hold the feathers together. Some of them have holes at the top to slide on the key necklace but mine didn't fit so I put a string through it and tied it to the key necklace.
4. Small charms/accessories
5. Your key!
To color your key you'll need...
1. Nail polish any color,
2. If you're under 14, get permission. Sometimes if you paint the key it won't go back in the slot, or worse, you'll get paint chips in the lock and your parents will yell at you. That hasn't happened to me, but if you don't want to risk it, then I suggest just painting the top part of the key, (I'm referring to the part that doesn't go in the slot, if you were confused).
3. A good top coat that won't chip. Because you don't want bad things to happen.
And Voila! You're set for life.
There you go! I know this was a random post but I was redoing my key and was like, "Oh my gosh! I should totally take pic's and blog about this!" so now I'm here having a flashback with you. Ok weird I know.
Xoxo, Shenae :)
Halo (Germany), Bonjour (France), Hola (Spain or Mexico)! Or if your american like me, Hello! As you probably read by the title, I'm doing a Gaga inspired hair bow. If you do not know what that is then here is a picture of Lady gaga sporting the Bow.
This picture was borrowed from online sources. I do not take credit. :)
Hopefully all my awesome worldwide followers know who Lady Gaga is, but just in case you don't, Lady Gaga is a singer, songwriter and a partial actress. She is a little bit quirky but has an amazing voice. Some of her songs are a little bit PG 13 but hey, that's why we love Gaga. For more info on Gaga go here =>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Gaga
Anyways here's my take on the lady gaga bow look...
As you can see, my bow is all of my hair combined into one piece. If you'd like to achieve this look, please follow the steps below.
Things you will need...
1. Lots of bobby pins, clips, barettes.
2. One pony tail. Aka hair tie/band
3. Hairspray
4. Headband (optional) also any accessories you would like. :)
Step 1. Flip hair over and make a very High Ponytail.
Step 2. Split hair into two sections, but leave a small amount of hair in the middle for the middle of your bow. This will come in hand later.
Step 3. Twist right end of hair into a loop. Kind of hard to explain, but if you watch the video by foxy locks she sort of explains it.
Step 4. Secure with as many bobby pins it takes to hold really well. I used only one because I thought it would hold but about an hour later it fell out. So definitely use at least two.
Step 5. Repeat on other side.
Step 6. Take the middle piece of hair and wrap it back to create the knot of the bow effect. If there's too much hair and it looks funny, I recommend wrapping it under one of the bows extremely carefully.
Step 7. If you have short hair, this could be your final step. Just be sure to use hairspray. And lots of it.
If you have long hair like foxy locks and I, Move along to step 8
Step 8. With long hair, your bow will look droopy and wilted. To fix this push bow up and forward and bobby pin some more. Like I said before. Use A TON, of hairspray. In this project its your best friend.
To see FoxyLocks Video see below...
This video is not mine. This is Imogen. She, I think, owns the Foxy Locks Extensions business. Check her out on blogspot... imogenfoxylocks.blogspot.com I love her she is another one of my inspirations. I think she is so beautiful and she taught me so much on YouTube. Hello world,
I was at the mall yesterday and I noticed that whatever store I went to, I couldn't get away from the animalsfaceonashirttrend. Yes, you read that right, animals-face-on-a-shirt-trend. Thats what I call it. They look a little like this--
Forever21 $14.80
Not the girl obiously, but the shirt! I don't know if it's just me but I've noticed them alot and, I don't know what to think of it. It looks cute, but at the same time it looks creepy. Kind of like the animal will hypnotize you into wearing the shirt while its hanging in your closet--or folded out in your drawer--staring at you. Have any of you seen the paint commercial where the girl is trying to paint her house but she see's her boyfriend staring at a painting on the wall of Neptune. The guy is like "it speaks to me" and then you hear the wall say, "don't paint me" then the girl paints over it and is like, "nope its gotta go". Thats what I feel like will happen when I buy this shirt. Ok fine I'm just kidding that wouldn't happen, but my point is that I see the shirts every where and no one has started a trend with them yet! Here's some more...
Wet seal $18.50
Wet seal $18.50
Forever 21 $14.80
As you can see, I only have tops from wet seal and forever 21 uploaded on here, but thats because I'm lazy. By the way, I don't own these pictures or the tops so do hate me. You wouldn't hate me right? You don't even know me! Oh well. THANKS FOR ALL THE NEW FOLLOWERS! It means alot to me that you checked out my blog and are following me. I love all your blogs too! I read all the comments and if someone follows me I try to follow them back but a girl can only do so much :) By the way, I finally got a twitter! Well, I myself had a twitter but for my own safety I made my blog a twitter. As always XOXO Shenae :)
Hi everyone! It has been scorching hot where I live lately and I noticed that with all my hair, my head gets hot, so I decided to sport the high messy bun. If you don't know what a high messy bun is, it's basically just a bun high on top of your head. As I type this post I am wearing a top knot. It looks sort of awkward if you don't know how to wear it because sometimes a little piece sticks up. But hey, what did they create bobby pins for?!
Thumbs down for, too, messy :(
As you can see, there are pieces sticking up and the top knot looks terrible...
this is an example of a way not to do the high messy bun look. :(
Thumbs up for good messy texture :)
As you can see for this picture the bun has very small good looking pieces out. In the first picture the pieces sticking up were thick and long. But for this picture they are thin short and give the bun character. Also if you want even more texture, flip your hair over, braid down with your hair. Use an elastic to tie it off, then flip your head back to normal and spin the braid into a top knot, It will look bumpy but that gives it the "knot", also I've found that those stay together better then the messy textured buns. I hope I helped!
So I know I haven't posted in a while but I decided I should do something, so I'm making a favorites blog. My first favorite of the month has been:
1. Aussie Leave-in Conditioner. Its amazing! What you do is you, use it right after you wash your hair. It's best to use when you come right out, spritz about 5-9 squirts onto your hair depending on how much hair you have and use a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute the product. :) My second favorite of the month is:
2. Poppy by Coach Eau De Parfum. I don't actually own the perfume, but I smelled it in the catalogue and it smelled AMAZING! Its about 60.00$ for a 1.7 oz bottle and about 80.00$ for a 3.4 oz bottle, so its a little pricey but I bet if you go to your local Sephora or Ulta they might have samples. Or, you could even shop around for a knockoff. Compare the two! You might be surprised how much alike the perfumes smell. No one would even know. My third favorite is:
3. Colorblock tiger stiped nails inspired by Macbarbie07 on Youtube! She's so awesome everyone should go check her out. I did my little take on it with three shades of pink so here it is! If you want to know how to do this comment below and I'll make my next post about it.
Colorblock tiger striped nails.
I'm also loving the songs:
1. Super Bass- Nicki Minaj
2. Last Friday Night (TGIF)-Katy Perry
3. Edge of Glory-Lady Gaga
I hope everyone has a fantastico rest of July and as always, follow me on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shenae-Nicole/122954367790233
Check me out!!! Like always XOXO Love Shenae
